Dee Youmans-Miller lives a life surrounded by art. In a unique way, Dee brings an intimate view of her subjects, giving the paintings a life of their own. “Each work has story to tell; I try to weave that history through it with unique compositions, graphic elements and exquisite detail so that the work is a tapestry of imagery and texture.”
Collectors across the U.S. are moved by the spirit each piece posesses. Traveling around the globe inspires Dee, and her recent trip to Japan has garnered some of her best work. Continuing to create and explore, she is the ultimate artist, having won the Hillsborough County Individual Artist Grant, having been chosen as the Award Artist for the Tampa Bay Committee of the Arts, and owning her own digital arts company, Full Throttle Intermedia (FTI). Art is her life.
